Sabbia Beach construction update

 

The latest picture shown above, is of the west end of the 15th floor formed and awaiting concrete. The east end of the 16th floor is being formed and this half will be poured middle of next week. In the foreground, the personnel and material hoist, also known as the “buck hoist”, is being made ready for operation.

Construction is progressing on schedule and there is a lot of excitement has been generated.  A few units are still for sale. Not for long!

Yesterday, the first half of the massive second floor slab was poured.

It is the first level parking for Sabbia Beach residents. Next week they will pour the second half which willcomplete the first level parking. Over the next three weeks, preparation for the pouring of the third floor slab which is the second level parking for Sabbia Beach.

The wonderful Sabbia Beach project is now under construction.

Its estimated completion is early 2018.

The Flagler Village in Fort Lauderdale is known for its many apartments complexes. This New Condo building in Fort Lauderdale will be a first in the trendy neighborhood, located North of Downtown.

In a few days, BRYL Development will present the project to the City. Basically it will have a total of 99 units on 12 floors for a total of about 185,000 sq. ft. There will be a pool and 105 parking spaces. The building would total 185,531 square feet.

It would be on the 0.62-acre site at 626, 630 and 636 N.E. 1st Ave. The developer acquired the property for $725,000 in 2014.

Bryl Development, headed by D. Broman based its plans on the lack of affordable condos in the area.
Two of Doron Borman’s partners in the Flagler 626 are Israeli investors who are already participating in the Canvas project in Miami.

Flagler 626 will be sold at about $350 a square foot, which will barely classify it in the affordable homes category. Starting in the mid-$250,000’s , living areas will range between 671 and 1580 sq. ft.

Two thirds of the units will have less than 1,000 sq. ft. There will also be four townhomes at ground-floor level.

  Broman thinks that Flagler Village has a lot of potential and  reminds him of the Wynwood beginnings and evolution.
